For reference I used this tank for a reef set up for a few months. I have no freshwater experience but have a good amount of saltwater. I picked this tank up on sale and must say I was very pleased with it. My tank was 100% ready to go although I have heard quality issues do exist. To make this reef ready I added a power head to increase flow and upgraded the lighting (low light corals would grow under stock, and I believe mid light corals would too, the stock lights are a no go for things like sps ect.), And was able to add macro algae to the back. The glass is rimless and looks amazing, and the stand the tank sits on adds to the quality look of the system. The tank looks professional and is definitely not an eye sore like pieced together systems can be. I was very happy with my setup and the in tank overflows worked amazing. The water line is a little low stock (the overflow notches go down further than I think they should) but it is not a deal breaker. I managed to house 3 small fish, a cuc, fire shrimp and crabs long term and was very happy with the tank. As for the stock lights they are impressive LEDs but are somewhat lacking power for a full reef. Adding a third would increase the types or corals one could keep. In all I liked the look and functionality of the tank from day one.
