Just add the ceramic media, decorations, water & chemicals, (let the tank cycle for a week or two) and add fish. It's that simple. Don't want a lot of hassle with tank maintainance? You found the right piece of equipment. The biOrb, unlike most other aquariums, only needs a quick "vacuum" with a siphon pump once approximately every three weeks. The filter needs changing approximately every six weeks. Other tanks in the same range need cleaning once or twice a week and the filter needs to be changed every four weeks.
